First Sunday Back!

21Sep09

This Sunday marked the first day “back” for many things – it was essentially the kick-off Sunday for the “regular” year at Tenth.  The Philly Distance Run and after-church plans (and several sick siblings) complicated “lift-off” time for me, but the day went quite well, all things considered.  Thank you, Lord!

Over the summer, attendance in Sunday School for the Primary Department (Grades 1, 2, & 3) averaged 35-45 kids per week.  Yesterday I had 66 kids for opening exercises in the Catacombs.  Wow. :-)  Of the 66, there were only five or six kids whose names I did not know.  Which means that the other 60 are “regulars.”  It’s going to be a fun year!!!

Several friends have offered to participate in skits throughout the year (and others, no doubt, will be coerced into participating).  For now, you’ve got a decent idea of where I spend Sunday mornings.  And I LOVE every minute of it!!!  Come by and have some fun with us!
